Wills

Wills and Estate PlanningTell me why I need a Will! Because you, not a court or a relative, decides what happens to your assets. You will determine where and when the assets will be divided and to whom they will be given.

Don’t risk leaving behind uncertainty and hurt feelings between loved ones. Call the office of Linda G. Welch & Associates to set up an appointment to discuss your wishes with your estate.

Power of Attorney
A Power of Attorney is a legal document that you may use to authorize another individual to act on your behalf. There are different forms that provide various powers to the named individual.

Health Issues
A Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care is a legal document that designates a person or persons to make health care decisions on your behalf should you become unable to make those decisions yourself. This person or persons act as your agent and should be someone you trust. This office creates documents which will become effective when it is determined by a physician that you have become disabled or incapacitated and at that point your agent takes over the decisions involving your health care.

Financial Issues
Power of Attorney allows you to be prepared for an unexpected future. It can ensure that your financial needs will be cared for by the person that you trust the most. It authorizes your agent to engage in certain specified business and/or financial transactions on your behalf.
